Metacafe, like Revver, pays content providers for their work. The difference between the two sites is simple -- while Revver pays uploaders a percentage of profits based on ad clicks, Metacafe pays an uploader $100 (US) after 20,000 views (per video) and $5 (US) more for every subsequent 1,000 views.
